Photo Challenge #338

Tired from an eight-hour work day the prominent CEO nearing the end

of his nightly commute couldn’t believe what appeared to be a possible

breaking and entering into a cute pink cottage located close to the end

of the cul-de-sac.

Slowly he continued driving his Porsche at a slow rate of speed then

parked between two cars directly across from the small house trying

hard not to arouse suspicion although intent on fulfilling his duty as

a member of the neighborhood watch.

The exhausted man proceeded to clean his eyeglasses since a barefoot

woman wearing a dress climbing through an open attic window left him

in a state of disbelief.

A quick glance to the right and in full view he noticed his long-time friend

standing watching the female’s antics from the window slightly beneath.

What on earth?

The alarm clock sounds – dream’s over – time to get ready for a day’s work.

One-Liner Wednesday October 28th 2020

Today’s prompt: ‘What day is it anyway?’

The mid-week reminder stared back at me and I realized per rules I’m only allowed
to write ‘one line’ for this weekly prompt; therefore a woman who follows rules will
comment it’s the day after yesterday, the day before tomorrow thus the answer to

today’s prompt question is ‘it’s today’ another one indoors within the semi-prisonlike
existence we’ve been forced to adjust to since March 2020.
