This week’s prompt:
‘first 2-5 words at the top of the page of reading material nearby’
Sitting at my computer desk, I looked to my left and atop of
Friday’s literary heap, temporary clutter, stared back at me one
of several journals I’ve purchased in recent months.
The first 5 words read, “always remember YOU are BRAVER than”.
I prefer lined journals and find them to be quite beneficial to me,
a notetaker of important info for possible usage at a later date.
At the same time, I took note of how each journal I’d purchased
was based on an inspirational title.

Today, I chose to follow Linda’s lead and checked back on my Facebook memories.
Both sentences inclusive in this post are excellent inspirational tips on how an
individual IMO should lead their life.

Prompt: ‘make a note’
Before breakfast each morn without fail (disciplined myself) I
staple several sheets of computer paper together.
At the top I place the date and day of week kind of like a reminder
headline followed by thankfully a short list of required prescription
meds to be taken.
I write the required number of times each med is to be taken then
leave ample space to record the actual hour and minute of
ingestion.
Next, I draw a semi-straight line to separate this section from the
list of imperative to-dos and hopeful to-dos.
This ‘make a note’ manner works well for me.
All chores, errands, etc. for the day are crossed out upon
completion.
Day complete – time to place my 8.5″ x 11″ paperwork in the trash.

It’s time for me to pick a fictitious name in order to tell
my story, hopefully in an untraceable manner void of
outside interference with end result cathartic finally.
I rarely write explicitly with regard to personal life. I have
placed content within poems – no actual reveals. This allows
readers vast room for thoughts.
If I can help even one person who has experienced same
or similar I feel I’ll have accomplished what I originally set
out to do before I became sidetracked, questioning myself
and overthinking.
Why should I ~ Why shouldn’t I . . . It’s 100 percent truth.
Today’s prompt: prepare
Days prior to Blizzard 2022
People started to make preparations.
Supermarkets with overflowing shopping carts
Lines at the gas pumps
Prepare, Prepare, Prepare
Yes, I did my groceries ahead of the crowd.
Yes, I put the now overpriced gasoline in my vehicle.
Yes, I placed all trash in the hopper.
All to do was sit and wait out the storm.
Yesterday the day of the storm
The power went out ~ apartment near total darkness
Luckily, I’d had my hot tea beverage prior to outage.
When I accessed my portable radio, I found no sound.
And ‘C’ batteries which it required were not in the drawer.
It reminded me of when I go shopping without a list, it’s
inevitable I forget at least one item.
Lesson learned: check ALL for correct size batteries.

Today’s word prompt: looking
The past few days I’ve been looking for opportunities to supplement
my income.
I was flabbergasted when I read about the success of a 19-year-old
who currently is earning big bucks from a crafts business she started
little over a year ago.
Yes, twas hard for me to comprehend since during my tenure of life
I’d dabbled in the same Hobbie.
Bravo to the young lady from the UK!!
Me? I shall continue looking and conduct research in hopes of a
last chance at success.

In light of recent events, the gal who refuses to give up her final goal
in life has chosen to prioritize where, how and with whom she spends
quality time, a much-needed precedent to change title following her name
from ‘writer’ to ‘author’ before the local New Year’s Authors’ convention.
