Biography Poem

A biography poem tells the reader about someone.
Following the format, I’ll introduce myself (a good practice exercise) for
a blogger’s ‘About Me’ section.

  1. The first line is your first name.
  2. Write some words describing yourself.
  3. A minimum of three words about how you usually feel.
  4. In the fourth line mention some activities you enjoy.
  5. Talk about something you don’t particularly like to do.
  6. Name one or more family members.
  7. Line seven share what frightens you.
  8. Curious for answer(s) to something you have a question ’bout.
  9. Talk about one of your favorite colors.
  10. Describe how you think others see you.
  1. June
  2. Calm exterior, sweet personality, shy
  3. Confused, overwhelmed, tired
  4. Writing, reading, crocheting
  5. Shopping in crowded stores
  6. My surprise package, Heather and miracle son, Michael
  7. Spiders, nightmares, strange noises
  8. Why do we study courses in school and college we’ll never use in daily life?
  9. Orchid is my favorite color ~ favor pastels over bright hues.
  10. A kind woman who rarely complains ’bout the circumstances she’s faced in
    life.

The biography poem was a fun, creative post and I’m certain one I’ll refer back to
when revamping my blog in the near future.

A secret:
Was your guess correct?

“I’m studying all forms of Poetry.”

Journaling

During December I devoted much time to become

acquainted with myself.

The process wasn’t always easy since I had to admit

my own misgivings and learn how to handle often

awkward situations.

The book I’d chosen was on the Kindle (one I’d have

to return upon completion) and to highlight info

wouldn’t have been feasible plus no archived record

of exercises completed (lists, answers and drawings).

Ah, I opted for a new ‘Happy Thoughts’ journal and

thankful for the additional expense.

New Year’s Day I submitted a 5-star review on the

Goodreads site as I’d participated in the 2021 book

reading challenge.

As luck would have it when I hit the square to post

I received a near blank page telling me ‘an error had

occurred’.

Although I admit this was an annoyance I handled

the situation well. Thankfully the site allowed me to

print out what I’d written. Phew!

It’s much easier to retype work than rewrite it. I

left the computer and chuckled to myself about

starting off year 2022 with a technological glitch.

I perceived what happened that morning with a

healthy attitude.

Yeah me!

The Dreaded Process Xs 2

Three words: decide, commit and repeat

  1. No longer could I live in this manner; it’s unwise and unhealthy.
  2. Reluctantly, I admitted to myself it was time to hire professionals.

30-day challenges ahead:

  1. Social Media Detox
  2. Declutter the apartment
  3. Self-carebudget more time for self

It took me quite awhile to find the proper photo today coupled with toggling
back and forth between block and classic editing.

Unfortunately, my budgeted computer time is about to expire and from past

experience  I’m fully aware:

I’m on my own to continue to clean up a sordid

life mess.

Next post I’ll discuss my feelings on Part1 of this long overdue journey.

Fixed incomes don’t appreciate too many out-of-pocket expenses!!
