Tabloids terrible tale tell
Texas trainwreck turmoil
Taxi’s transmission thundering trouble
Torrid temperatures, trees topple
Transportation tie-up
Tourists’ tempers tested
Tired toddler throws tantrum
Tension toll turn-about transformation
Thanks to Taco Tuesday’s terrific team

Hello October
Thankful temperatures cooler
Low humidity – air fresher, cleaner
Less traffic, super walking weather
Apple crisp, apple pies, cider
Homemakers turn decorators
Handmade decor, fairs crafters
Halloween costume spooksters
Trick-or-Treaters, candy seekers
Carved pumpkins Jack-o-Lanterns
Various pots colorful floral Mums
Fall foliage, traveler’s favorite season
Welcome Autumn

Why Didn’t I Get It Right??
gallon water day
beneficial one health wise
counted bottles eight
goal complete erroneous
1-2-8 ounces gallon
Yesterday I thought this was a good idea
Small 8-ounce bottles H2o lined up for day
I didn’t include water used for cups of tea
Rather figured better to count plain water
I thought this goal seemed a bit too easy
Surprise to learn I’d met my goal halfway
As one gallon of water contains 128 ounces
How could I have forgotten the calculations
Quite a light bulb moment for me this morn
I guess I’ll have to settle for one half the goal.
Camp NaNoWriMo
Day 1 of a new mini goal set in motion.
I thought it would be a fun exercise to write a poem-a-day.
Mid-afternoon last day of June search notebooks underway
Registration info found; access left me with feeling of dismay
Before my eyes the unfinished romance novel “Aussie Courier”
Left incomplete, question self ‘why’ can’t think a valid answer
Hopeful computer word program has a printout calendar avail
Visionary board – poetess creations’ wish display without fail
Time now gal learning enjoying and writing various forms poetry
Detour take ‘nanowrimo’ persona transformation, subsequently.

Dysfunctional childhood life disguised
Abandonment, worse fear realized
Summer months temperature extremes
Farmers’ crops ruin, worse fear realized
College freshmen choose party nightly
Results mid-terms, worse fear realized
Consequence cell phone constant habits
Battery drained; worse fear realized
Interruptions day’s preparedness
Failure June post, worse fear realized
Poem-a-Day ~ February 3rd
Love, one-word description
Be ‘devotedness’ prescription
Combination three ingredients
Intimacy, passion ‘n commitment
A place bankrupt of loneliness
With surplus pleasure willingness
