whoever knows grief
affirmations so-and-so
peanut butter spreads
hardship sandwich basket noes
scents floral nose recalls sharp

time evolves pain remains
death forever transforms is
energy osmose
newspaper riddle once heard
black white red ‘read’ all over

mirror reflection
tale now do what’s best for you
those walked path selfsame
understand wherewithal those
lateral inversion twist

Half-way thru month of hellish occurrences led me on a search.
I found this line from Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet, a message per se.

“To thine own self be true.”

L’ambiance Francaise

In her early 50s, on a whim, she enrolled in French
classes at her local university.
Her professor was quite impressed with how quickly
she mastered this romance language and allowed her
to skip a semester.
Weekly she sat at the language table with tenured
professors and even the university’s chancellor.
The requirement for all attendees was ‘no English’ to
be spoken.
